We are considering the fall trip. We'll see if the funds will be there. This business is our family's main source of income so we have to watch our expenses... but my question is about the spouses. Can spouses sit in on the classes as well. My husband is participating in my business more and more and has shown a real knack for applying the plasters I've taught him so far. It's nice to have an extra set of ears in there as there is so much learning in such a short time frame.

finally purchased tix. 600 via Alitalia to Munich via Rome (we are taking a little detour prior to our arrival in Verona) then train thru Alps to Verona. Then Verona to Lake Como (another little detour post departure trip), Lake Como to Milan. Milan to Newark. not a round trip per se, but still a great price. Gotta strike while the iron's hot. Isn't that what they say?

Lori, Boy that sounds like a great itinerary you have made for April.
We'll be going in Sept.06 and will like to hear from you as to how you like your trip.
Many years ago I was able to spend four years in Italy with the U.S NAVY station in Naples.
Sally has never been there so it will be fun to go back and spend the trip with her.
Take care.
Ken.

Awesome Ken, we have been to Italy before, but each time to a different region. This will be my first time to the Northern region. I told the people where I work if you don't see me by May, I won't be returning! LOL Question for all you seasoned people, this year we are taking laptop and things that will have to be charged. Does anyone know what type of transformer or 3 pronged device one would need? I know if your device is rated for 110/240 you wouldn't need a transformer, only a converter plug.

I ordered one on line. I chkd all our stuff and we won't need the transformer. It was like 7 bucks or something. should work for everything. It has 3 prongs.

If any of you girls use a curling iron, you will need to buy one there. Something about the auto shut off. Also if you have room to pack a pillow I would. The pillows there are very flat. I always bring my feather pillow. We have such a good group going this year. This should be the best trip ever! Maybe no rain in Venice this time.

I talked to James today. They went to Venice and it was sunny. So that was good news. Venice in the rain looses some of it's charm.
