Ginger, We like going off season because it is not too hot and the prices are not raised. But we will consider this. I will get back to you.

It's hot and can be quite humid in Italy in the summer. Unless it's changed since Gail and I were there--most places have NO air conditioning.
Much of the country shuts down for a loooong summer break--including Safra.

We should also consider possible liabliliies for Doyle, Linda and Safra.

Hey guys.
For the first time, I would recommend going sans kids. There is so much to focus on and learn it would be difficult. Safra keeps you very busy. I couldn't imagine that Italy would be the same if I took my 3 boys. However, I have considered taiking my kids and the hubby for a couple weeks just for fun. That way I could focus more on the tourist stuff. When I went to Atlanta, I brought a babysitter and my two oldest because my cousin lives in Cumming. It was still difficult. You know how it is... You constantly worry about them even if you know that they are in good hands and it completely broke my concentration. I love them and all but sometimes it is best to keep them at home, especially when you are learning something new.
