has anyone tried to add more color to a valentino after it has been waxed? if yes, what steps did you take?

Glenda, are you talking about more color as in more wax, or more Calcenova? If you are wanting to add more calcenova you will have to use a wax remover, I think Naptha makes a good one...you will have to remove the wax before you can expect the calcenova to stick to the wall or sample.

You can also tint the liberon. so you apply tinted layers of liberon, but you will need to test samples out.

You would also have to sand the Calcenova to give some tooth before you can apply again.

Thanks, for the Info.

I am wanting to add more calcenova. I am doing two niches in which I had to color the calcenova two different times. Color came out darker the second time. Although the client loves the darker color, the first one was complete. I learned a valuable lesson, make sure you have enough color!!

after I sand the calcenova will I need to add any firminova?

You will need to remove the wax like Greg said and then sand and then firmanovo
