I'll be doing a job with Veneziano in a bi coulor. The designer wants some gold leaf peaking through. I'd rather do a gold wax on top at the end but I understand the look she wants. I thought of doing my first layer. Then doing a bi color layer, then some gold leaf, and a final bi color layer to polish, burrying most of the leaf. ANy other suggestions? My worry is that plaster over the gold leaf will make scratches in the leaf and not stick to it. I did this look in a dome using lusterstone and it worked out well but plaster is plaster after all.
