Hi all-
I have a client that has requested Rasa Calce tinted to Benjamin Moore - AC-1 Coastal Fog (a relatively light color- not a lot of tint) --- I made up a sample board using the Marmarino formula as advised in a post or two here. The color is spot on - HOWEVER, there is no cracking- none whatsoever - Any ideas?
Does the tint make the product too flexible and not crack? As an aside- the Rasa Calce w/o cracks w/tint is quite beautiful Smiler just not desired in this case!

Any help would be appreciated- Thanks

Kris

I have tinted rasa calce in the past and still got cracking. Are you sure you put it on thick enough? There's also that timing thing with the sritzing/ smoothing process....

I recently did a rasa job with brick breakaway (did not get pics yet). I wanted cracks but none were there. I think it may have to do with the temperature/moisture in your environment. My sample cracked like crazy but on the client's wall, not one crack and I had it on there pretty thick in spots.
