I want to make micromosaics (mosiacs with glass pieces that are about 1mm x 2mm). The tradional way to do this is to use a base of "stucco a olio". From my research this is stucco or plaster with linseed oil to slow the drying to that if the plaster is kept moist it is workable for weeks. Anyway, can anyone point me in the right direction. So far, I thing I need 50% lime putty and 50% fine sand or marble dust and linseed oil. Does anyone have any thoughts...Thanks
