I had my first paying gig yesterday.
It was a gas, until i noticed small areas of very small and fine cracking going on. It peeled up a little while burnishing. I used Mccloskeys. with 3 coats, just the top coat cracked. I sanded the areas ai little and reapplied that
seemed to wrk alright. There are other area that are still cracks, they are so small and fine that youhave to really inspect the wall to see them. Will they eventually flake away?
Why did they form in the first place? Please help. Thanks

Hello John, I think McCloskeys is more like a paint than a plaster. You might try to apply very thin coats. Sanding between each coat and dusting off the surface before the next.
