Trying to locate the flat plaster washers used to secure undamaged plaster to lath prior to cutting out damaged section. Have found them on the internet but would like to find a source local to Atlanta, preferably north Atlanta, as repairs cannot continue until washers are available.
Thanks, allen |

Hello Allen.
Why would you wont to secure the undamaged plaster. If the plaster is undamaged it will be secure. When I repair plaster on lath, this is what I do. Carefully make a small hole about tennis ball size in the center of the damaged area, then very carefully using a small pallette knife remove the damaged plaster until it stops coming away from the lath, then re-plaster. |
