Has anyone been asked about fireproof and/or flash test ratings for all the finishes. Recently asked by architect but was stumped for a response. Have SAFRA finishes been given a fire test rating?
I did suggest that the finishes were likeley to be fire resistant but it didn't really fly without the specific data.Thanks,

Paul, I believe Safra is in process for determining such ratings. Maybe Doyle knows for sure...

I have done a little research and I believe that the required test is 'AST & E84'. This tests for flame and smoke spread and is pretty much a requirement for architectural firms specifying a finish for public spaces. Each test is done in a wind tunnel and requires a sample 2'x24' (sectioning is allowed)- "that's a lot of sample!"
Also, VOC testing is useful- Does anyone know if SAFRA products have this?
