Is there a technique for achieving a highly polished finish once the material has dried as opposed to having been been burnished while drying out. I have been taught that you can not rely on wax or polish and the shine that you get with the trowel is all there is. This is specific to working large areas on your own and like with gypsum plaster not getting back in time to trowel up. Im thinking in terms of polished stone or marble. I hope this makes sense? Not really, just drop back after the wall drinks the moisture and burnish and go back to applying.

Hi there,

Regarding John Scott's question.....If I understand correctly we apply and if we could not finish the wall, let it dry and go back in to continue applying and burnishing? Is this with veneziano only?

Thanks, Stella
