Hi All-I have a bathroon project in marmorino coming up next week but unfortunately the plaster is not available at this time. The Lustro is available but as I have not seen or used it I would appreciate input from those that have. I understand that it has more shine which I am sure will be fine with client. I have heard some concerns about its workability and that it tends to dry patchy? I am really trying to get the look which came with the original marmorino as that is the sample chosen- of course I would certainly practice before applying in bathroom but any input on look and/ or technique can only help my learning curve as time is limited.
Many Thanks!

I've only done samples with it, but I think the patchiness you described is caused by burnishing a dark color too soon which can happen with any of the plasters in a dark color. You will be fine using the lustro as a substitute.

You need to wait longer to burnish like Debra said. Just try on a sample ann you will be fine. The 250 buckets of marmorino is here in the states but it will be a couple of more days to clear customs and get delivered.
