I was using Rivedil wax on my lime based Venetian plaster wall. The results were very good for my project. As I expected:
1) The surface become darker 2) More structure become exposed Then I was told by my supplier what Rivedil no longer produce this wax. I was trying Liberon and Trewax products but without any success comparable to Rivedil. After some investigation I've found some opinions what those products best work on synthetic plasters. Could anybody please suggest good wax for lime based Venetian plaster producing effects I've described above? Any suggestion/comments appreciated. Marina http://www.decowallfinishes.com |

Hi sorokinmar,
I've heard that for a good wax you should use Trewax. They also work for venetian plaster, but anyway I suggest you to ask here: www.venetianplasternewyork.com as I've used their services before in this kind of works. |

Ciers D Art, put out by Safra is the best I've used on limes. I've tested a few over the yrs and still, I like ciers d art the best.

Nancy,
Is it possible to get/buy samples of Ciers D Art (and possibly other Safra products) or they available only for certified applicators? Marina http://www.decowallfinishes.com |
