why would you want to go and buy raw materials when you are so new to this? THat is like wanting to be a realestate investor by buying a bunch of wood (without any knowledge of the building industry)

Find a reputable company that makes VP and other plasters and start there....

a very vyer small bunch of craftsmen actually make their own product from raw material because the art itself is what they love, they are into it. And in the end, without the technical knowledge and feel, your recipes will fail....

In time, you might want to play with semi homemade recipes but for now, learn the products that are out there.

SAFRA makes very high end clean products, a good place to start if you are serious.

Hello Carmine, sorry I think I worded that wrong, I dont literally mean RAW, I meant just a supplier like Safra that you gave me, thanks for that. Any ideas on pricing structures, going rates etc... any help or ideas will do. Thanks again for answering me.

Thanks Nancy, I will try to call them over the next few days. Are they linked to this website as when I type in Safra I keep coming back to Italianplasterers. Do you have there website address or even a contact number.
I dont suppose you can help me with pricing etc... Any help is greatly appreciated.
