Hi,
Can someone please advise how to repair little chips/gouges in Veneziano after it has already been completed, burnished and polished. I have a 25' long wall that I did a polished Veneziano on and the a guy doing my baseboards must have swung the boards around and scraped and damaged the wall in about 6 spots. I did not notice when he was here because I was so concerned with the mess he made on my baseboard joints. Today while looking at the wall I shrieked "oh my God" he scraped the wall all over the place. I took a fine paint brush and filled in a few of the areas but then tried to trowel over several others and the patch is ugly and obvious. Please help! This wall was beautiful and I spent an enormous amount of time on it. |

I had a similar incident and lightly sanded the area and reapplied the Venzi primer and finisher and burnished. It didn't look as if a fix had been made.
someone more seasoned than I may have better advice. |

Thanks Carl...since I already troweled over in a couple areas and it is obvious should I resand those areas and reapply or is it just too late?
Thank you, cher |

No, I don't believe it's too late...not like it's lime. When I reapplied the Venzi primer, I did a random looking pattern rather than a blotch of primer...laid it real thin too.
I would see what the general consensus is before proceeding. Good luck! |

touch ups are tricky. Never a right or wrong way. With Venetian,..one always wants to burnish too soon with the touch up,...let it sit for a little while,..then hit it. Too soon of a burnish will make it appear darker,...too late will appear lighter.
Use your head with this one. It is doable |
