I have done several Venetian plaster jobs and have been pleased with the results each time. Now I have a client who would like to have VP in an entry way dome. It is a somewhat shallow dome, but a regualr straight trowell for a flat surface is not going to work. Any ideas on what kind of tool I should use?

On columns with a tight radius I have used a section of rubber base-coat. U know that cheap rubber base board you always see with that crappy vinal OSB tile in commercial buildings.
