Hey Daniel, remember the Tadelakt samples we did in Italy? We never heard anything more after that from Safra. When we were working at the School, a friend of ours asked us if we were interested in learning it in Morocco. We're still thinking of going if the opportunity comes up again with him. I'm attaching a pic of the description of Tadelakt we took in Montova. The sink in the bathroom was done in Tadelakt.

I've always heard there's not many in the US who are doing it "authentically." Somebody who knows will probably chime in to say.

I think I may have some more info on it. Let me know if you're interested and I can send it to you but I'll have to dig!

Greg,
Once I saw the posts on tadelakt, I got curious. I had never heard of it before, so I did a search. I found a site in the UK, www.mikewye.co.uk, that distributes tadelakt plaster, and has a one day class. They also refer to a six day class in Morocco. The site is www.riadzinoun.com. It's a six day class for 975 Euros. I believe it includes everything from airport transfers, meals, hotel, etc. So the next time you're headed to Morocco...

I just found this forum. I am in Chicago. I trained in Marrakech to apply tadelakt in the traditional way. I imported a container of pure marrakech lime (tadelakt). The real stuff. And am selling it by the bucket. I have recently completed 2000 sq ft of walls in a spa in chicago. I love the stuff. If anyone is interested in buying the raw material, let me know. It will expire in about a year and a half.
