My husband and I are doing a huge home in coccio pesto and in one small spot we had bubbles appear. What did we do wrong?

What stage are you at? first coat? Half coat?

You are most likely over working it. It does not like that.

sand down a bit and reapply I would burnish with a cloth to help it blend. Sart out rubbing around the patch because it will dry faster there
