Got a call from a Design Student at a local college
who I had over to provide information and sample boards
for her presentation.
Her project was on informing clients and designers
about Venetian Plasters and providing them with information
on selling the product.

After seeing her and giving her the information needed,
I discovered the need to provide our Designers
and Architects with a cheat sheet, that could help give
them more confidence on selecting the correct plaster
for a job. With 15 different plasters to choose from
it sometimes is to much to learn, Lime, Resin,
Wax or not, Tinting Lime, Durability, and other issues
that make it difficult to for them to sell. The
information they really need is to help them convey
this to there clients. It took me weeks to understand
which plaster is best for a situation and how it
performs over time.

If anyone wants to team up with me to put together
a Product Guide for the Designer's and Architects let
me know. This would be a brief and quick reference
guide that would be easy for anyone to use.

I will start a spreadsheet format in column form,
listing the plasters on the left vertical side.
On the top horizonal row will be the information.
In order: Resin, Lime, Synthetic, etc...

PLASTERS AREAS USED DURABILITY TINTING
____________________________________________________________

Veneziano Anywhere High All Colors
____________________________________________________________
Romano Inside Only Water resistant

____________________________________________________________

I will work up the Spreadsheet and do a draft in the
column form.

I think I still have it, contained questions most frequently
asked when selling plasters to a client.

I will look.

Vallie,

Would you mind e-mailing that info to me also? We're just gearing up for another tradeshow and the more info the better. This time I am actually going to do live demos at our booth like Doyle suggested. Should be fun!

Thanks, Lynn
