Italian Plasterworks (John Matsch and Ayn Riggs) participated in this years Extreme Makeover My Hometown San Diego. We painted and plastered a large communal kitchen/dining area and two buildings which house a total of 30. As far as plaster goes we used Eturia (241 fin.)and (195 primer) under a chair rail in the dining building. In the residential units we did four bathrooms in metallo washes over murs d'art. One bathroom is an ADA bathroom. After we finished they hung the towel racks over the Murs d'art which is no problem if you aren't going to move them. Which is exactly what they did as they were not to code. Of course this is the bathroom to be taped for the TV show next week. Other than that situation, its been a blast and I will let every body know what kind of exposure we get. The pics will be in the gallery.

Hey Congratulations! That's fantastic! All except the part where they moved the towel racks lol. Bummer.
When I had my trade show back in the summer of 2005, the producer of Extreme Home Makeover showed up reviewing all the booths....I was hoping to get the opportunity but then I guess you do the work for free? At any rate, congrats again and keep us posted on details as to when the show airs, pics in the gallery etc. Nancy M. |

yes, I had to work for free. My hope is that I will get enough PR to make up for it. It looks like I am going to get a couple of jobs off the Auxiliary ladies.
