I slaked quicklime 2 years ago and have 30 5 gallon buckets of aged putty. I have tried to create a decent plaster with 3/2 fine sand/putty mix with natural pigments but cannot get a smooth finish or decent vibrant color after drying. I need a source for bulk marble dust and any added expertise in creating the plaster.

they are a supplier and private label plasters. THEY are the factory... that means they carry the putty, they carry the marble dusts, the aggregates, each of those are a product that can be sold to you....

Smiler

Anyway, any factory will sell you the marble dust, (each might have a different ruling on amount, to whom, etc...)

good luck on this...

I bet if you call Adicolor in CAnada and talk to MArco, he can get you anything you want, he owns Adicolor canada and usa...

you can call textureline in Canada and talk to Barry, same deal, I bet Barry would sell you raw material if he believed you had a spcific need for it and you would be willing to work his products for the rest.

Thanks, I'll try them. Have you used their colorants and found them to be concentrated? Has anyone on this forum made their own lime plaster?
