I'm working at the current incarnation of Becker Studios in Chicago in the
original building designed and built at the turn of the century specifically
to paint backdrops. There are two working paint frames, but originally there
were five or six working at a time. The reason for my post is that the
building is for sale and I didn't know if there was anyone out there with
the desire, intrest, and/ or capital to save it from becoming another lofted
condo space. It needs work and upkeep, for the right people it's the right
building and I just wanted to let people know that it's for sale.
