UPS is now one day faster in GROUND shipping to the following cities from ATLANTA:

Dallas/Ft.Worth, Houston, San Antonio...Now 2 days ground from ATL

Eastern Kansas...Now 2 days ground from ATL

New York City/Long Island/Northern New Jersey (including the Hudson River Valley)...Now 2 days ground from ATL

Pennsylvania...Now 2 days ground from ATL

Denver and Eastern Colorado...Now 3 (three!) days ground from ATL

Along with the maps we have sent everyone for ground shipments, please update your location accordingly.

You can also go to:

ups.com/maps

to get the latest times-in-transit for your area.

So, we now have accelerated ground service to save a day or more on GROUND deliveries to these locations from ATLANTA only.

We have also changed our boxes that we ship product in and have experienced a monumental decrease in damages. To date since the change in box sizes, we have not received one damage claim from ATLANTA. We have a new, full time shipping agent, Larry, who will be taking your phone orders. Any technical questions or estimation help will still be handled by James and Shayna.

Our shipping hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4:30 pm. Be sure to do your best to get orders in before 3:30 pm as our UPS pickup time is 4:30 pm. Larger orders may take more than 1 hour to complete packaging and invoicing and may go out the next day if shipping volume is heavy. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and we'll do everything we can to get your order out on time!

Your ATLANTA Team,

James, Shayna and Larry

Well to Cincy Scott:

3 day shipping is $40 for a 5 liter of Fix-A-Quartz weighing 18 pounds in a 12"cubed box.

It's only around $20 for ground service so it looks like it's a choice of service level.

Overnight is around $100 for the same package coming from California.

Anyone can get these figures from clicking on http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/shipping/index.html and clicking on Calculate time and cost on the UPS web site. AS LONG AS you know your weights.

In fact, we're looking at putting something together to help applicators determine costs of shipping, kind of like we do know by providing every student with full color UPS maps with ground shipping from San Diego and Atlanta.

California applicators have been paying higher shipping costs for years now from Doyle. I don't think that our side of the country should have any issue with product coming from California on a short time basis. At least the product is in the country and not on it's way on a boat or a plane like Doyle has done before.

Applicators are very happy that there are now two distribution points for Safra plasters and that we stock more product than before. The increase in applicator jobs has really demanded it. That's why the Atlanta School is expanding to a location 3 times the current size with a dock and warehouse space attached to the Studio.

Be on the lookout for more ways the School will be supporting the applicators regarding Shipping.

James
