And here are the winners. As most of you know Linda and I disqualified ourselves, (we didn't want to take all the prizes lol)
This is a copy of an email from Luca at the factory:
"Dear Doyle,
sorry for the delay in returning to you regarding the price. It was harder than expected to manage to put together Luigi, Daniela and me, in this high-season moment.
Anyhow we were impressed by the quality of the jobs made by the participants and a certain degree of discussion took place among us to establish, among so many quality works, whom to decide for.
Not coming up with an agreement among us, we decided to increase the available prizes.
As a matter of fact we wanted to increase the prizes further. Artistry's shine, Chris' interpretation of Fiorentino and Mantovano's depth all show excellent decorative skills, deserving mentions.
To make a long story short, we decided to divide the prices in two categories: (1) Classic Application and (2) Original application.

1) Winner Scott Fritz (500$) / Second Berselli (250$) / Third Artistry (125$)
2) Winner Lisa Shoptaw (500$) / Second Jolene Hemeon (250$) / Third Chris (125$)
A special award to Linda's fireplace which really impressed Luigi. Sorry Doyle but she won a 3 days food & lodging in Verona.......will you join her please? :-)

All other prices but the first 500$ provided by Safra in products.
