Allow me to introduce myself to the group. I am a new Italian Plaster rookie (Brad Mason); just finished the course in Atlanta presented by James and Shayna (outstanding Instructors!!!). I recently finished a short twenty-five year journey serving in the military and I am anxiously looking forward to the next twenty-five years or so as an Italian Plasters Artisan. I just showed my class sample boards to some friends and they were blown away by the product. Simply put I am looking so forward to joining this family and meeting all of you. In fact thanks to technology the class was introduced (via, live video) to Vallie Duncan while he was doing a job in Texas (Thank you for sharing your time, the ceiling looked great), and Doyle joined us for lunch one day (via, the computer).
Just one last commit, as a rookie I am looking for some real hands on time so if you are in need of a rookie status trained applicator contact me.

Arrivederci
Brad

Hi Brad,

I am a newbie, too. I'm just down the road in Lafayette, so give me a shout.

I'm working on my first room, and hope to finish this week. I've got aches in new muscles I never heard from before!

Have a great week.
Carey

Welcome Brad and Carey,too... I am a newbie (August) and have been busy doing my house and a couple of litle bitty jobs... I retired from nursing 100% about a month ago and have slowly been getting in synch with a new career... I think you will find this forum is superior to anything out there support wise and SOIP has it 'GOIN' ON !! There is always someone offering to talk you through an emergency, etc. if need be... Don't mean to sound cheesy but "you are never alone out there" Later, JA
