Hello I will be taking the Class to learn this trade soon in Ft. Collins. How ever have showed some people in my are the samples sent to me.

Had a question as to the durability of the product.
Was asked yesterday, could the product be used in window seal ledges, and on the lower bench area in front of the gas fire place, as people would somtimes sit on it.
So would it be durable enough for people to sit on would be the question ?

Hope to join and get active in this trade soon.
Stephen

Hi Stephen. It depends on wich plaster youre talking about. The veneziano you can put in the windows seal, and yes you can sit on it. I did my glass coffe table in veneziano, and its held up for about a month and a half now. You know you have to think about what you are going to put in the window seal for a backer, if the window sweats water, you are going to need to have something other than plain drywall for sure. I live in Fort Collins, my father does the class here, you'll be amazed at the safra product once you have seen it in class. Also, I live in an apartment, and did my fireplace wall with the same color veneziano as my coffee table, the apartment mgnt. came to see it and wanted to know if there were a type to replace the tile, and yes there is, the Aquello. The Aquello is very strong and you can sit on it. Hope to see you at class this month.
