Still have a little jet-lag. Last night we went to dinner in Verona. Pasta with fresh olives from the north and fresh cherry tomatoes from the south. The flavor explodes in your mouth. And of-course Chocolate salami for desert. This restaurant is worth the trip to Italy, but makes for a expensive dinner. Will have some new information to share with you all when we return.

Just got back to the hotel. The largest Italian Decoration magazine just interviewed Linda and I for an article. What a honor. Will post when it comes out.
You will be very pleased about the new products we are learning.
ciao

Doyle and Linda,

If you are up at 3:10 in the morning reading this you are a true plaster junkie! Sounds like you both are getting the red carpet treatment. Enjoy your stay. Love this Eve stuff navigating around and everything. Thanks for setting all this up for us.

We have been training in Tadelakt this week. Safra was asked last year to formulate Tadelakt for a Morocco company.I can tell you the finish is truly stunning and like no other. The idea of Luigi and ArteNova is "the world of high decoration" Which includes of-course the classic Italian Finishes, but does not end there. Also finishes from other parts of the world like Tadelakt, LavaFresco from Belgium and finishes from Egypt as well. These are the ones we have been learning this visit. Luigi's dedacation to the production of classic Italian decoration combined with new inovative finishes and some of the most beatiful finishes from around the world will keep us all inspired in the art of decoration. I will share more with you when I return to the States.

Tadelakt reeks of Morocco and northern Africa.
Looked into it at one time and found some pics on-line. Very different........Humphrey Bogart would have liked it.

Hi Nancy,

Tadelakt does sound exciting!

Concerning post editing: It should be possible for you to both edit or delete your own posts.
Does your page view show a set of icons in the lower right-hand side of your screen--just above the reply icon? They enable editing etc.

If not, then your permissions are missing that option. You can check in your
'My Space", "Forums - Venetian Plaster Talk Forums".
The "Edit/Delete Own Posts" should have a green check by it. If not you can contact the administrator and have it activated.
