I am guessing they alradey have several liens filed in their behalf.
This is what I would do. I f you can get back into the building, take some really beautiful shots of your work, get a five gallon bucket of some cheap paint, and roll right over the walls. Piss on em.
Hang in there man.

Not only can he not take pictures, but he can't even get inside CDC. I would keep putting pressure on CDC to help you get paid.

Luciano,

In most or perhaps all states, the owner, (CDC in this case) is responsible for paying for work performed--even if their contractor/or design firm does not!

Lawsuits are expensive, messy, and time consuming. They should be your last resort--not your first.

Doyle is absolutely right--CDC should be pressured to either pay you, or force the other group to pay!

Certainly do not (even if it were possible) deface the work! You will be charged with vandalism, criminal mischief etc.

I agree with Doyle, the goverment pays very slow ,you would think PRAD is still owed money.
I would approach CDC and not give up.

Well there is some logic in that. "THEY" finished the job 3 weeks ago. At least they are saying you will get paid. If I understand right you should get the check in about 1 more week. You know, if only people would call and be honest with you and say. "Took us longer than we thought to finish the whole scope of work. I am sorry for the inconvenience, but we will have you a check for you soon." Instead of not returning phone calls. That kind of response always makes me worry!!!
