Hi I'm stu from the north east england. I am a beginner to marble plaster and am practising in my garage. I suppose my first question is, is this a site for beginners or for pro's. Hopefully the answer is both but let me know as i have lots to learn.
i am a gypsum plasterer by trade.

cheers everyone stu.

Both, but take the class and you'll be flung into pro.
It's pretty hard to understand the different types of plaster without seeing it and feeling it with a good instructor.

cheers, Practice is slow as busy at the minute. i have a couple of small boards which i coat when i get in.
it's enjoyable and i like the effect but no doubt when i look back in 6 months time these boards will look absolute rubbish.
cheers again and look forward to learning. I did a day with mike wye but will have to try a another when time permits and i've made enough mistakes so i know the questions i need answering.
speak to you again. stu.
